A few minutes ago I finally got the details on where I will be living from September-June, yey! There are quite a few student halls to choose from in Portsmouth, but I’d say I ended up with one of the best. I’ll be living in Margaret Rule Hall floor 5, apartment 9, room 4!
The rooms look quite big to be honest and I get my own bathroom! I will be sharing a kitchen and common room with 6-8 other students, which I think will be a lot of fun. At least I will get to know some people right away. And the best thing is that it’s only a few steps away from school, the shopping street, the train station (90 minutes to London!), the harbour and just everything really. For the first time years I don’t have to get up to take the bus or tram to school. I can sleep!
Less than two months left. Ah, I can’t wait!

Oioioi! Så spennende! Og så deilig det blir med eget bad! Det er kanskje en av de tingene jeg IKKE ville delt med noen. Felles kjøkken gjør derimot at man blir fortere kjent, og det er jo et pluss! Blir spennende og følge med deg! (For du tar vel med deg oss til Portsmouth?

Happy memories. I lived in 5-9-3 back in 2003. Nearly burnt the kitchen down twice, does the random man still walk his dog on the roof of the car park opposite every morning?!
